This will be my last message before the annual meeting in June and I could not leave the Board without letting the community and the current and past Board members how much I have appreciated the opportunity to serve. This has been an extraordinary seven years with participation from all segments of our neighborhoods. In addition, I have had the pleasure of working with two fine property management firms and two very professional managers. In all, there are over 100 people who have directly or indirectly contributed to the progress we have made. Speaking of progress, we can be proud of the appearance of the common areas, streets, and trees and flowers. We can celebrate our excellent financial condition. The past seven years have been good ones indeed. I have been blessed. Thank you, all of you!
With the past now behind us perhaps we can look ahead. The Landscape Committee is working from a list of important improvements for a number of our street islands and pocket parks. I think you will love what they do. The Architectural Planning Committee has been critical to the community’s past and will continue to positively impact our future. They really do essential work. HOAMCO will continue to be an able partner. We are fortunate. Finally, our finances will get stronger and stronger, probably, without a rise in dues. Our future is bright so I feel comfortable turning the reigns over to the next Board. I know that you will support them as you have me.
Please continue to watch out for each other, know where your children are during the summer, keep
the golf carts at home in the evening, and enjoy our friendly community.
As always, I can be reached at 505-797-4293. Call me if you need me.
